Cancellation Policy
As Solitaire Lodge is situated away from the city of Rotorua and overlooking Lake Tarawera, cancellations may not be easy to replace at short notice. We therefore apply the following cancellation penalties:
- Within 30 days of arrival date – 25% of all room nights booked will be charged
- Within 10 days of arrival date – 100% of all room nights booked will be charged
Except the period, 1st December to 31st March when the following penalty applies:
- Within 90 days of arrival date – 50% of all room nights booked will be charged
- Within 60 days of arrival date – 100% of all room nights booked will be charged
If you have any change to your plans please inform us in writing as early as possible.
We encourage our guests to take out comprehensive travel insurance, in case of any unexpected changes in their travel plans which may incur a cancellation fee.
When booking the Lodge experiences / activities, please be aware that cancellations within 7 days of arrival may be charged.
Payment
25% of the total cost of your stay may be taken to confirm your reservation with credit card details provided. All reservation requests are subject to confirmation after payment has been received
Any Credit Card Refunds are transferred to the original credit card provided for the guarantee or payment. In the event that a cancelled reservation results in a refund by the Lodge, any bank / card transaction costs will be deducted from the refund due.
